When employees are happy, they work harder, and will do whatever it takes to make the company successful! It’s no surprise the companies that value employee appreciation and culture are the ones who see rapid growth. When you prioritize culture, it makes managing a team much easier, and puts employees in an environment where they can grow and innovate.

Working remotely can make it challenging to define what the culture is, and how to engage with employees. How can I boost morale when I can’t have face-to-face interaction? Incorporating direct mail swag is a great way to energize your team, and make them feel appreciated. While we know it takes more than just swag to keep employees happy, this is a great first step in making a memorable moment with your team!

Our team put together some fun swag ideas to keep your team feeling engaged and appreciated. Our swag ideas range from thoughtful to engaging – adding life to video meetings. We cover it all in this three-part series!

1. Employee Appreciation Care Pack

Swag Pack Includes: Custom Succulent, Raaka Coconut Milk Chocolate, Neck Wrap, Custom Insert & Custom Branded Box

Why do we love it?
This is one of our favorite packs. It has a perfect balance of thoughtfulness and comfort. Desk plants are great gifts to make home offices feel cozy. It’s a swag gift that will grow with your teammate! If you haven’t had Raaka chocolate, you’re missing out! It’s a sweet gift made from unroasted chocolate beans, which gives it a surprisingly fruity taste! Lastly, we all know our employees tend to work longer hours while at home. The neck wrap is a great reminder to take a break and relax. Now can you see why we love this pack?

Best for: Employee Appreciation
Client use case: Inc’s 500 Best Places to Work, Clari, used this pack to boost employee morale during the Covid-19 crisis. Learn more here about the results with their case study with SwagUp!

2. Game Night Swag Pack

Why do we love it?
Who doesn’t enjoy a fun game night with some drinks? This pack is great for a happy hour mixed with games. Use the whiteboard to play charades, or to keep score for your team! It’s a nice way to mix up some virtual meetings, and to bring your teams closer together.

3. ‘Work from Home’ Swag Kit

Why do we love it?
Let’s be honest — anyone working from home is wearing pajamas, or something close to it. Why not send your team some cozy sweats to wear at home and lounge in? We love this pack since it embraces “WFH” life, and gives your team a little nudge to take a break with some snacks & Netflix!

When sending swag to your team, it’s important to promote a healthy work/life balance. This pack is a thoughtful way to encourage your teammates to take a breather, and have a relaxing night watching movies! (Pro tip: Ask everyone on your team to watch the same movie or series, and discuss it at your next meeting!)
