Marketing 

Account Manager

Union City, NJ 

We are currently seeking Account Managers to join our customer success team!

Account Managers are the customers’ connection to SwagUp. All communication flows through the Account Manager. Account Managers help customers at every step of the buying process, answering questions, suggesting ideas, and communicating with the design team, to help customers get the optimal result with minimal stress.

 

The primary role of an Account Managers to build relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring that their orders are setup to meet their expectations and their visions turned into reality.

 

Each and every day is different, every client is unique, and it can get pretty hectic at times, but you’ll never be bored. On a daily basis you’ll be juggling more leads than you can handle, so prioritization and organization will be paramount.

 

If you love interacting with people, working under pressure, building relationships, flexing your creative muscles, and have a sense of style, then you may be the right person for the job.


 

Responsibilities:

•  Guide the customer through the entire ordering process

•  Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure they feel a part of the process from start to finish

•  Help the customer get quotes, mockups, and confirm orders via website, phone, or email

•  Work with the ordering team to ensure customers’ orders are produced as intended and delivered on time

•  Collect and confirm customers details accurately (files, locations, dimensions, ink colors, shipping addresses, sizes etc.)

•  Deeply understand the landscape of suppliers, the countless products available to customers, and the different imprint methods utilized in various situations

HR Manager

Union City, NJ 

As the HR Manager for SwagUp you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of SwagUp’s human resources.

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager, to undertake all aspects of Human Resource management, including recruiting, compliance, corporate wellness, leadership, KPI reporting, onboarding, forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Executive team your role will be to:

  • Participate in the development of and support the company’s strategic plans 

  • Monitor the staff’s performance of the company 

  • Compile and analyze compensation packages 

  • Prepare quarterly and annual hiring budgets/roadmaps 

  • Develop and manage on-boarding processes in accordance with the company’s culture 

  • Establish metrics/KPIs for staff

    • Communicate metrics/KPI to senior management 

  • Work with management to find strategies to improve individual performance of team members 

  • Use data to create policy and drive company goals within Human Resources 

  • Assess staffing needs and deliver tangible plans/solutions

  • Recruit, qualify and set expectations for candidates. 

  • Manage the preparation and administration of employee agreements as well as payroll and benefits set-up. 

  • Coordinating and directing the preparation of any corporate wellness and team building events.

Requirements

  • 3 Years experience in HR related positions. 

    • Minimum of 1 year in recruitment 

    • Additional experience in hiring and personnel development roles

Finance

Financial Controller

 

Union City, NJ 

As the Financial Controller for SwagUp you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of SwagUp’s finance and accounting.

About You

We are looking for an experienced financial controller, to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. Finance controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.

This will include specific tasks such as:

Management

  • Review accounts receivable and help collect as needed. Record payments when necessary. 

  • Review accounts payable and verify invoices with Product Team. Help with RMA process and payment options to optimize cash flow and rewards (with suppliers and credit cards) 

  • Process payroll in a timely manner (JustWorks) 

  • Manage Cash Flow and Account Balances (Quickbooks)

  • Help Integrate Quickbooks with other systems (Domio, Salesforce, etc)

  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system 

  • Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions 

 

Reporting 

  • Issue timely and complete financial statements (by the 10th of each month) 

  • Cash reporting, analysis and projections (Semi-Monthly) 

  • Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report 

  • Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics (Gross Margin) 

  • Sales Audits (weekly)

  • Commission Reports (monthly)

  • Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management (Monthly) 

  • Provide financial analyses as needed (Monthly) 

  • Monthly review and revisions with Executive Team

 

Compliance 

  • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual review 

  • Comply with local, province, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings 

  • File monthly and quarterly investor reports

Ordering Pilot

Union City, NJ 

We are currently seeking a new Procurement Coordinator to join our customer success team!

 

Procurement Coordinators (aka Ordering Pilots) are an essential piece of the SwagUp operations. Our company is rapidly growing and we need someone to keep up with this fast paced environment. Our Account Managers bring in order after order and it’s the Procurement Coordinator’s responsibility to work with Account Managers to make sure that our customers get exactly what they ordered, when they need it.

 

All communication with our suppliers flows through our Procurement Coordinators. Procurement Coordinators are in contact with our suppliers day in and day out, checking on their orders, negotiating better pricing, and maintaining a great relationship. Ordering Pilots must be have great attention to detail and great communicators.  When Procurement Coordinators get the job done, our customers get the optimal result with minimal stress. When that happens, customers come back for more and even tell their friends. Our customer’s satisfaction lies in the Procurement Coordinator’s hands.

 

Each and every day is different, every order is unique, and it can get pretty hectic at times, but you’ll never be bored. Responsibilities:

•  Ensure a smooth process from when POs are sent until items are received in our warehouse

•  Maintain consistent communication with vendors to ensure all items will arrive as expected on the day they are needed on order status so that they can keep their client's in the loop

•  Experience with screen printers and embroiderers would be a plus - but not required.

We are looking for a Front End/ UI/ React Developer to work with our UX/UI team. This is a UI development role, specifically focused on React. You would be implementing the front-end design, that communicates with a provided data service API, participate in the full software development life-cycle, and help establish front-end standards and best practices. SwagUp is looking for someone who has strong React experience. If you are a results-driven, detail-oriented, high-energy, enthusiastic, self-starter type, SwagUp is the place for you!

As Senior UI/UX Designer at SwagUp you will be an instrumental part of a small but powerful team transforming the future of the company and the branded swag industry as a whole. You will be leading the conceptualization and design of core SwagUp products like our pack builder and swag management dashboard.

We are looking for someone who takes a fresh approach to solving user's problems, based on passion, creativity, and data, not simply best practices. We strive to make our user's feel the same way about using our products as they do when playing their favorite game, putting a smile on their face all while making their lives easier.
