How We Personalized Pet Swag for Our Team (And How You Can Too)
At SwagUp, we believe swag is a way to build connection, spark joy, and make people feel like they belong. So when we launched a custom pet-themed swag pack for our team, it wasn’t just about making something fun. It was about celebrating the furry (or feathery or scaly) friends who show up on Zoom calls, crash Slack meetings, and make work-from-home a little brighter.
We turned our pets into stickers. The internet loved it. And honestly? So did we.
Pets Are Teammates Too

Let’s face it…pets are part of the team.
Whether they’re barking during client calls or snoozing under your desk, they’re with us every step of the workday. So we asked ourselves: What if we made a swag pack just for them?
The goal was simple:
- Spark joy
- Encourage sharing
- Make it personal
The result? A swag pack that made our employees laugh, made our clients smile, and made LinkedIn go wild.
From Pet Photos to Sticker Sheets

How We Brought the Pack to Life
We started by collecting pet photos from every team member—dogs, cats, lizards, frogs, and one particularly photogenic parrot. Our design team illustrated each pet’s head and turned the whole collection into a custom sticker sheet. But we didn’t stop there.
Each mailer box became a mini art gallery, featuring the same illustrations on the outside. It was cute. It was chaotic. It was unforgettable.
What’s in the Pack?

The Pet Pack Lineup:
- Custom sticker sheet featuring every pet
- Fully branded mailer box
- Pet bandana (tiny fashion matters)
- Tennis ball (for fetch breaks, obviously)
- Pet water bottle
- SwagUp backpack
- T-shirt (for the human, of course)
From Slack Threads to Viral Posts

The Social Ripple Effect
Once the boxes hit doorsteps, our team Slack lit up with pet pics, reactions, and wholesome chaos. Remote employees got to share a laugh (and a few “awws”) with teammates across the country. It brought us together in a way only animals can.
But the real surprise came two years later.
We ran a LinkedIn giveaway featuring the pet pack. All people had to do was comment with a pet pic. Not only did we get 100+ comments and a ton of reposts, but once people received their packs? They came back to post again—this time with their pets in the swag.
The results:
- 100+ comments
- 200+ new LinkedIn followers
- A wave of people asking: “How do I get one?”
Sometimes, the simplest ideas (with the most heart) have the longest shelf life.

Your Pet Deserves to Live Forever
